GOVLEARN Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing civic education for elementary and middle school students. Founded in the wake of the 2016 presidential election by then-middle schooler Luke Gialanella, GOVLEARN aims to bridge the gap in civic knowledge by creating engaging, accessible resources that teach students about U.S. politics, government functions, and their role as future voters. The organization recognizes that a lack of early civic education contributes to voter apathy and a disengaged citizenry, and it works to ensure that young students develop a strong foundation in understanding how democracy works.

What started in Los Angeles, California, has grown into a national initiative driven by Luke Gialanella, now a Boston University student, who continues to lead GOVLEARN with a passionate commitment to youth empowerment. Through educational tools, classroom materials, and public awareness campaigns, GOVLEARN seeks to raise consciousness about the critical need for civic education in America's schools. The organization's mission is to inspire the next generation of informed, active citizens who are equipped to participate in the democratic process and shape the future of our nation.
