Luke Gialanella is currently a sophomore at Boston University, where he is studying International Relations and Political Science. He founded GOVLEARN at the age of 11, shortly after the 2016 presidential election, driven by a desire to address the lack of substantive civics education for elementary and middle school students. Luke's dedication to civic engagement extends beyond GOVLEARN; he has served on Congressman Ted Lieu's Youth Advisory Council and the City of Los Angeles Youth Council, furthering his commitment to empowering young people through education and public service.
